Once upon a time, long before match.com was an option, a lovesick fisherman in the land of makinga whose name was Otello took his search for love to the river.
Otello the fisherman wrote A quick message, “To Someone Beautiful and Far Away,” he slipped the message into a bottle and threw it into the river.
After two years later, Otello's plea was answered by a woman from a village not too far from the land of Makinga. “I am not beautiful, but it seems so miraculous that this little bottle should have traveled so far and long to reach me that I must send you an answer,” she replied. The two began a correspondence that ended in Otello's move to see the lady and marry his match made by the river.
