Thank you so much for my 600+ followers! My followership has been growing by leaps and bounds lately, and I am ever so grateful!

I'm looking for some feedback from YOU, my amazing followers. In return for that feedback, I want to gift one Steemian on my Followers list 10SBD for the most thoughtful or helpful response.

On my Steemit page, I do a lot of different things. Recently, my posts have been focused on exposing new members of Steemit who are my friends, as well as music and some iPhone photography posts, all of which I enjoy doing very much.

I wear many hats. My posts range from:

  • Acoustic Music Covers
  • Original Acoustic Music
  • Electronic Cassette: iOS-based Electronic Music Experiement
  • Gig Reflections: Life as a Gigging Musician
  • Weird Plastic Baby
  • Handwritten Ramblings: a hand-written blog series
  • Photography of all kinds of random things
  • Field Trips to outdoor locations in the Missouri Ozarks and surrounding areas
  • Tips and tricks for new Steemian creators
  • Posts aiming to unify the Steemian Musical Community
  • Digital Art/Collage
  • Rants
  • Vaping-Related posts
  • Other stuff...sometimes.

What do you want to hear more of? What do you want to read more about? Let me know in the comments!

I like making lots of random content, but I also like to know what my followers are following me for, if that makes sense.

I just want to check in with all of my awesome followers and see what you like about it here, what you don't, and what you want to see more of.

I really appreciate your feedback, as it helps me create better content for you on the daily! :)

The contest will run until this post pays out, and at that point, I will pick a winner and transfer the 10SBD directly to your account and make a post about the response and how it helped me become a better Steemit blogger.

Thank you so much! I look forward to hearing from you.

All my love.

Sort Order:

Honestly I know you mostly for your music posts. I would stick to that on this account and maybe is anonsteem to get other accounts for for other niches. Being a SEO salesman back in the day, it's better to stick to one niche. Unless you don't care about visibility.

That's exactly what I've been reading, and was wondering if format changes of sorts were perhaps in order so as not to confuse followership. Thank you for your feedback, my friend. It is valued and much appreciated.

Honestly if you want the most people to see your stuff you kinda HAVE to conform to a niche. My blog is variety because I don't care about visibility atm and it's just a compilation of my life. So getting separate blogs could help you out.

Simply to hear about YOU and your (yo)Uniqueness. Just keep at your passions which are of many hats as you mentioned. Of course ask what we may be interested in. But with your growing followers seems you're already sharing what we want to hear which is of your passions. :)

Best / ❤ / Namaste,

Thank you so much, my friend. I am happy to hear that my multiple passions are well-received here. I've been doing some reading about general randomness of blogs and subsequently confusing subscribership, and wanted to check in with my followers and see if random is still good, or if there's one thing or another the crowd likes me to focus upon. Gotta stay relevant! Lol

First of all, congrats on hitting the 600 mark! Very well deserved!

This may be a long shot, as it may be a little too personal... But I would really enjoy reading a blog entry about your decision to leave your job in the mainstream/professional world as a teacher to pursue your passions in music, etc. What gave you the courage to make such a bold move? What have the pros and cons been?

Like I said, if it's too personal, then I understand and fully respect that. However, I'm also curious to hear about this part of your journey if you would consider sharing it with us :)

I know that you have been busting your ass for years to make music a part of your life and for that, (and so many other reasons), I admire the hell out of you. Keep on doing what you do, my wonderful friend! ❤️❤️❤️

I will absolutely write on this subject. It is a multi-faceted one and for sure will be a long form post, no doubt. Love you, and thank you for that thoughtful feedback, Mel.

Fantastic. I'm sure I will be one of many that will read it, long form or not... (And we both know how much I love to read anyway haha) I know that it will be an interesting post full of your insightful writing. Looking forward to it!!! Also, Steemit is the only social media platform where I've felt even remotely comfortable getting personal. It's pretty great :)

Gettin emotionally nekkid on Steemit.

So when does t-shirt production begin? You just keep busting out the slogans 😂

I never asked about this but was always curious. Ya know, since I was probably one of the most weirdo clingy students you ever had. But, I was actually introduced to your music before I met you... then you were my teacher. Strange circle of things!

GS, you were not clingy nor a weirdo in my eyes. You were and always will be one of "my babies," and I'm forever grateful to you for that, @wednesdaymiller. I'm going to try and knock this post out sometime early next week.

I would greatly enjoy reading that! If you hadn't been teaching there by the end of my junior year and me not having already signed up for your class twice (and that rando mid-semester switch up,) I probably wouldn't been sitting here with a diploma. Senior year was looking grim a few months before it started. Good lookin' out ~fist bump~

...also, I have zero qualms with getting personal on Steemit.

Tips and tricks for new Steemian creators. Please!!

Thank you for that feedback, @codyshafer! Much appreciated.

OMG, what a huge mistake on my part, I wasn't following you. But, not to worry, I fixed it. Sorry, it won't happen again

STEEM ON!!

Glad to have you on board this ship, @gringalicious! All my love to you! :)

niceee, keep it up!

Thanks so much!

Very nice to find you! @jessamynorchard! Maybe you want to take part in any of our Short-film projects? The best regards! If not interested..no problem..all the best anyway! Following, upvoting and resteeming!!

I love short-film projects! Will be following you now to keep up with developments!

Just keep being you. Your garden experiments, music and even your little plastic "keyboard baby", it's all the things that keep us following you. :-) As far as helpful, I have a post with steemit business card designs you can check out and use for free if you need them.

I had literally just ordered my own Steemit business cards the day before you released your designs!!!! :(

Also, thank you for the feedback!! :)

You're welcome :-)

Congrats and success

Thank you, my friend, and to you, as well. <3

Not sure any comment i could make could be helpful or insightful ;)

Would be interested in anything you have to offer. You've almost surpassed me in reputation, have way surpassed me in followers, and are very successful considering you've only been on a little over 6 months. Would love to hear your opinions.

lol Ok I need to check out your Weird Plastic Baby posts because I haven't seen those yet, but it sounds interesting!
I enjoy watching you perform so my favorite posts are your original and cover performances.
I would also love to see posts about aiming to unify the Steemian Musical Community!
The discord channel is great. Maybe there's a way to gather everyone in there around the same time and discuss ways that we can all support each other.
Also, maybe we can create a steemit musician bot that upvotes steemit musicians by delegating our power to it.
I don't know. I've just been trying to think of some ideas because I love the idea of creating a solid music community where we all support each other.

@isaria thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. Our admin team over at The Steemit Local Music Society have some ideas on this subject, as well, and we are hoping to get those ideas organized and community-supported soon in the future!!

UNITE!!

Sounds great, looking forward to it!

I got the SBD notification. Thank you so much!!!
I hope you have a great day :-)

Also, congrats on 600 plus followers!

Thank you so much! <3

Juste inspiring, as a newbie i hope i will achieve this very soon, GOOD luck for next goal

Thank you very much! It's been a labor of love and community, as all good things on Steemit are. I wish you all the luck in achieving your goals and ambitions here on Steemit, @boudani.

I'd like to see more activity in the Local Music Society and some more dedicated discussion and hangout channels in there. I think everything is set up well but perhaps we need some sort of prodding or prompt to get things kicking more?

Otherwise, I haven't been following you super long obviously, but I loved your performance at the steem party and I'm looking forward to hearing more from you, especially original recordings!

Thank you for that thoughtful feedback, @fungusmonk. I will discuss some ideas with the other Admins and see what we can do. Any specific ideas you may have are more than welcomed to me directly, as well.

Thank you again for your amazing attentiveness during my set in KC. It didn't go unnoticed. So good to meet you!

Been following you for the better part of a year now, and even though I fell out of the steemit wagon and stopped posting, I'm glad to have come back and to see you still working on your dreams and sharing the life you live.
Always got a friend here jessmyn :)

@claritypavilion good to hear from you! I'm glad you commented to me here!! Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate you.

I don't know that doing only one or two types of posts is the way to go. The community is too diverse and it is not easy to bookmark categories yet. I'm building to 500 before I start doing deeper and longer posts. I might keep my posts about all sorts of different things until I hit 1000. Who Knows.

Best of luck and Steem on!

Girl, i dont want yo money! Just keep being awesome. You know I'm a fan of your music. This is what I like about steemit. We can wear many hats. We arent tied to the same thing repeatedly. Now go do that voodoo that you do so well!

It seems to me, that in our life even if something very much like it, we don't must on this "go in cycles." Periodically, you need to step aside and do something else.

Besides, as a musician You travel a lot, plus videotape it, plus thinking about music and related things.

All should be the measure. Life is "diverse", and that she is beautiful=)
