Wanted to buy some less amount few coins but it is so volatile, and as things go it's better to stock up the SBD... I had about 30 steem during the Christmas period.
But I kept trading on the currency market till it got close to 80.
The bad part about this is that I sold steem when price was low thinking it would still favour me.
That's how New Year's Eve shocked me.
By the time all was said and done,i lost close to 15 steem.
Since then,no more transactions for me.
But when my friends saw my account,they think the money came in easily,not knowing I did a lot of under the table deals.
That's my confession everyone. I have cashed out but I definitely made lot of profit trading.
But I won't advise it now. Value of steem seems to keep on rising,slowly but assuredly.

Me and my husband are having our family crypto portfolio for long term investment but he is the one doing all exchanges. In March, 2017, I bought 30K Ripple for basically nothing. Because I couldn't find a wallet to xfer the xrp to for cold storage I left it on the exchange. sadly, new exchange account. Didn't 2FA. Work got busy. fast forward almost 3 months to Early July. Hacker wipes my account clean.
