Hello steemians,

Last Saturday I had conducted a simple contest in which people will earn Some SBD for guessing the movie name of the movie scene. As I mentioned these I am sending out some little SBD to the winners even though contest didn't run well. It didn't get any attention. It's disappointing me totally. I wanted to cancel the contest. But as I mentioned there I am forwarding some little SBD to the winners. So here are the winners of the contest.

It happens sometimes. We mustn't let ourselves get discouraged. It seems the winners can still benefit from a few SBD, so it's not a total loss .

Hey Stefen. Thanks for doing the contest! Don't get discouraged. I started a contest the other day and only a couple of people entered. I think by sending it in various Discord chats, perhaps more people will enter. It's all about getting exposure. I think most Steemit users would enter at the prospect of free money. Do not be discouraged dear friend @stefen, it costs a lot to run a contest, you have to keep trying, ask everyone to support you by sharing in your blog, that is the way to success.

Hi @stefen. I was looking through the "hot" contests and came across this post. I like the idea of this contest, but do want to mention that @themovieplace runs a similar contest. I don't think that's any reason to not continue with your contest, but I just thought you may want to check it out.

Some hopefully helpful suggestions that I have for running your contest are:

Have users submit answers on steemit chat so that they aren't visible to all other users in the comments. If people already see that the contest is over, then I think they are unlikely to continue to upvote the post.
Either payout the full amount that the post generates, or stick with a given payout even if the post doesn't generate enough to cover it. Hopefully the contest will grow enough to generate enough SBD to cover the payout, and then the payout can eventually grow as well.
It's probably best to make the primary tag "contest" (like you did with this post).
Just keep experimenting with the questions and payout until you find something that seems to work.
