There is a famous persian saying describing my home town, Multan.

Chahar Tohfas az Multan: Gard, Gada, Garma, Goristan…

Mooltan, as this is how it is spelt in British Archives, is one of the oldest cities in the subcontinent, with civilization dating back to at least 5000 years.
The above mentioned saying describes the four gifts that this great city bears

Gard--------Dust or Sand
Gada-------The Saints
Garma------The Hot Climate
Goristan------ The Beautiful Damzels

Beside the above mentioned attributes, today I am going to shed some light to another beautiful gift that my city offers

Mangoes

Sweet, juicy and colorful...The King of Fruits...I have never met a person in my love who doesn't like Mangoes...
There are about 100 species of Mangoes that are being cultivated in Multan, the most famous are Chaunsa, Langra, Anwar Ratol, Desi, Gohar, Lab-e-mashooq, Chaman, Dusehri, Saroli, Laal Badshah and Malta.

Last Friday I went to a friend's mango orchard.

With the mango season about the arrive, the tree were at full blossom. The aroma of the blossoms was so refreshing...

Hopefully, these blossoms will turn into full grown mangoes in next two months.

Cute right, just like someone has put them right in the line.

Apart from Mangos there is another thing my city is famous for...

A sweet dish made from Flour(wheat/corn), Milk, Almonds, Walnuts and Sugar.
