The entire US, half of which is on the verge of impoverishment, needs to re-examine our moral values and priorities. I think one indicator that things really were going in the wrong direction is when the hippies cleaned up and started climbing corporate ladders.
Everyone is controlled by money - bribed by career opportunities, investment opportunities etc. It’s hideous seeing how the system was turning against us, but as individuals the majority didn’t care as long as it didn’t happen to them.
One of the biggest lies ever sold is that we’re the sum of our own actions and can achieve whatever level of success we want in the US and world.
The notion is comical given how controlled and geared to serve the wealthy everything really is, including the propaganda.
Unless a person or group is sustained by what’s taken directly from nature, we are hopelessly dependent on “the system” that’s been rigged and manipulated in a way that perpetuates the wealth and power of those at the top echelons which, in a large way, is a succession of some of the most successful criminals in human history.
Combined with their willing and unwitting minions and this is the psychopathic New World Order - until they’re stopped - literally the biggest and most destructive crime syndicate in human history - a protection racket in some aspects.
