There is such a joy and happiness that comes from making and eating home made foods and in particular homemade baked goods and especially cookies. The melting chocolate chips and the moist chewy cookie is so worth the effort, and when you spend some time and energy making and baking things then you find that the result is always more satisfying and satisfactory and of course, delicious! I do not know why but I know that there is nothing better, I always feel lots of nostalgia, all the joy of previous bakes comes back and you get a massive blast of energy and sheer happiness.
