An irresistible flavor that combines the sweet with the salty, fluffy and soft, it is about these rich snail-shaped breads, called here in Venezuela, as: * "Golfeados" *.
They are ideal for tea, and are available in bakeries in the area, are the favorite of my children, and today they tasted my first sweet breads, here I share some photos and their preparation.
Ingredients:
- You need, for the dough:
3 and a half cups of wheat flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, in my case I substituted stevia, which is sweeter, so use the recommended half, 20 g of yeast, 2 eggs, salt to taste, 40 grs of light butter and 1/4 liter of water or warm milk, whichever you prefer.
- For the filling:
40 grs of light butter.
250 grams of shredded paper.
250 grams of grated white cheese.
Melt paper to taste.
Information about bread dough kneading
- Then, with a rolling pin I stretched the dough in our work table, which I previously floured, spread out forming a very thin layer. I placed on the surface butter, shredded paper and grated cheese.
- I screwed up very well, as I show you in the photo.
- And we cut, giving shape to these delicious breads. I took the oven to 250 ° F, until it was cooked and browned, about 30 minutes.
And ready, to enjoy a delicious snack, which will please children and adults.
