Cooking my favorite dish :) so yummy!!!

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to cook one of my favorite Filipino dish it is called " Sinigang na Baboy " or Pork in Tamarind Soup, I'll show you what are the main ingredients that we need, my procedures on how to make our dish. It's 2pm now here in the Philippines and my girlfriend ask me to make food for lunch, so I think pork sinigang is perfect right now :) let's start!

Below are some of the ingredients that we prefer, but other Filipinos prefer to put some "okra", "gabi" or taro in English, and "sitaw" or legumes.. We usually put only these ingredients because our taste buds prefer only these :)

Our ingredients shown in the picture are

  • white onion
  • tomatoes
  • eggplant
  • radish
  • water spinach
  • pork

And these are some of the flavoring ingredients that can make our dish so delicious 😋

  • salt
  • pepper
  • fish sauce
  • Sinigang mix ( Tamarind Soup Mix with Taro)
  • water

Let's make our dish!

Wash your hands, prepare everything that you need while doing that put some water in your pan and turn on the heat, wash all the ingredients before cutting it

and then when the water is boiling put the onions, Tomatoes, add some salt, pepper, fish sauce, and add the pork, let the pork cook for about 30-40 minutes depends on the meat, this is my style of Cooking it, some people have different styles as well

Close the lid and let it cook for sometime

When the pork is tender, we can now put all the remaining Ingredients :) put the sinigang mix and then taste it put some salt or pepper if needed, Next put the radish and eggplant cook for about 5mins and then put the water spinach it cooks easily.

And there you have it, our pork sinigang is ready to serve :)
