Roasted chicken is definitly my favorite meal. It reminds me childhood when we used to grab one at the village's market. It always were served with little potatoes that were cooked in chicken fat... So delicious !
The wonderful thing with this recipe is that you don't specially need a roasting pan : honey and butter are here to give to the chicken a very beautiful golden color.
You can also cook 2 chickens at the same time, you will have a lot of leftovers for the week!
HONEY ROASTED CHICKEN

Ingredients :
- 1 big chicken
- 2 tbsp honey
- 30 g butter
- Salt and pepper
- Raw pecans (optional)
Preparation :
- Preheat your oven at 350°F.
- In a roast pan, notch the skin of the chicken in breasts and legs and put the butter under.
- Smear the chicken with honey. Add salt pepper, and pecans.
- Cook 1h30 to 2h and baste the chicken with its juice.
