I have never posted on this tag before but i was pretty free today after two straight weeks of exams.
Well this is my first cooking tutorial and might actually be the last.
Today i would be teaching how to prepare my favorite meal plantain and scrambled egg,
INGREDIENTS
1.PLANTAIN
2.EGG
3.fresh pepper
4.tomatoe
5.onion
6.salt
7.maggi
8.grandnut oil
process 1 (frying the plantain (dodo)
When your ingredients are set and ready, you put the oil on fire and wait for it to heat up a little, i usually advive you throw a little onion in to tell if its hot or not.
When your oil is hot, you throw in your sliced raw plantain into the oil and wait for it to get a little brownish before using your spoon to turn the plantain over so it would be same for the other side of the plantain.
After some mins you take it out from the oil so as to avoid it from getting burnt(black).
process 2 (making the scrambled egg)
This is usually the fastest part of the meal and its also the easiest part to ruin, so i tell you calm your horses down and just take your time while doing these process.
While the oil is on fire, you pour in your onion and your pepper wait for them to fry a little before pouring in the tomatoes, when the tomatoes is in i advice you let it fry for a while so the tomato can loose its taste (most people dont like the raw taste of tomatoes). When you are sure the tomato has stayed on fire long enough then you pour your egg in and dependent on how hot the oil might be the egg might start burning instantly, so stay focused and do stir it if that happens.
Keep stirring till every part of the egg is fried keep doing these till the egg, tomatoes and pepper are all dried, that's the best way to enjoy it.
process 3 (the serving phase)
This meal is one best served with a cold drink, i didn't get to snap mine with the drink because i was running low on battery juice.
Make sure to leave a comment and tell me what you think about these post.
