I love grill fish, Spanish mackerel is one of the best fish to grill. It has a lot of meat, and very easy to grill. I learned it from a Japanese chef, a good friend of mine. I tried a few times, it works great. I am going to share with you all.
Gut the fish, remove the head. Some prefer to leave the head on, which is fine. I feed my dog with fish head.
cut into 1 inch and half size
Prehead the pan to 370 degree, add the fish. Do not add salt and pepper because the Spanish mackerel is deep see fish, it does not need salt. Grill it about 2 minutes on each size.
It is done! drizzle some soy sauce. It goes well with beer or white wine and a bowl of cooked shelled edamame
