Okay, we've got some news from the New York Post here, and I've got to open my big fuckin' mouth about it because they're doin' the English language a grievous disservice:

"NYPD officer assassinated in police vehicle" - NYP
Hmm. I wonder what that word means...

"Assassinate: murder (an important person) in a surprise attack for political or religious reasons."- Google

"Assassination is the murder of a prominent person, often a political leader or ruler, usually for political reasons or payment." - Wiki

I'm not sure if a police officer qualifies as important or prominent, I suppose that's subjective, but no motive is given, and there is no comment from the suspect about his reasons.

"“This is absolutely an unprovoked attack,” said NYPD Commissioner James P. O’Neill." - NYP

Let's see about that...

"Cops say Bonds was paroled in 2013 for a robbery in Syracuse after serving nearly seven years of an eight-year sentence. He was set to complete parole in May 2018." - NYP

I'll bet if you put me in prison for seven years, I'd be provoked as fuck and not a huge fan of pigs, but that's just me.

A similar story from 2014 reads in near identical fashion:
"Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s assassination-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
No warning, no provocation — they were quite simply assassinated, targeted for their uniform,” Police Commissioner William Bratton said." - NYP

Turns out, according to the UK Guardian, NYPD only commits twenty something citizen murders a year, less than 1/40 of the total ONE THOUSAND AND NINETY THREE EXECUTION STYLE EXTRAJUDICIAL ASSASSINATIONS committed by US police in 2016.

Surely that's not enough provocation to galvanize a response of any kind.
Oh, wait. Is that too strong of language to use?

When the police shoot a citizen seven times while sitting calmly in their car,
For some reason,
The media never describes it as "EXECUTION STYLE."
I wonder why that is?
They never assume the officer was unprovoked.
The suspect always makes a sudden move,
Or reaches down quickly,
Causing the pathetic, mealy mouthed, fat assed punk bitch in the blue uniform to piss him or herself with terror, and start spraying bullets like a garden hose.

"The NYPD is the biggest police force in the country, with over 34,000 uniformed officers patrolling New York's streets, and 51,000 employees overall " - Google

Eric Garner and Michael Brown weren't prominent enough to be assassinated.
But three random NYPD cops out of 34,000,
Sitting still in their cars,
PRESUMED INNOCENT OF BREAKING THE LAW [why?],
When somebody shoots the fucking shit out of one of them,
All of a sudden it's an unprovoked assassination.

Dear New York Post:
Fuck you.
With an armada of thirty four thousand uniformed cops,
That is a hell of a lot of dicks to suck,
But you're doing quite well anyway.
Great Job!

Dear NYPD:
How do you like being shot back?
It's not unprovoked. You asked for it.
When you stop shooting us,
Maybe I'll feel real bad for you.
But it's not likely.
