I have a question that I don't seem to find an answer to.
Why does @cheetah bot upvote posts that are identical to other sources?
I remarked it in the past, I've just seen it again.
The text of the posts I'm talking about is identical in every way to the source, both title and body, yet no source is provided. I can provide a link, but I don't see a point because they can easily be found (I will if I'm asked to).
All images I use on my blogs, unless otherwise specified, are from Pixabay.com.
Cheetah finds a similar content online and comments on the post with the link to the source. This part seems perfectly justified and cheetah is an awesome bot if we count just this part.
What I don't understand is why the upvote? For not providing the source? For being a great copy-paster?
Should this action of copy-pasting require a flag? I don't know, it's probably a case-by-case analysis. And if someone's track record is of a copy-paster, maybe it should at some point. But an upvote? Why?
It may be a reason I simply don't understand. I would love to know it though.
If someone could enlighten me, please do! I'd certainly appreciate it! Maybe... @cheetah? :)
