Day 23 - Lockdown in a Construction Zone

in coronavirus •  5 years ago  (edited)

My tiny house is surrounded by frantic construction building a useless "roundabout", while the rest of town is forced to halt all non-essential activity and shelter in place. I can barely leave here, with threats of fines or prison time if I don't socially isolate enough, but the noise and vibration is so bad in my house, I can't hear myself think! My disabled wife and 6 month old baby's health are deteriorating!

HOLA HERMANITO DRUTTER ESPERO QUE TE ENCUENTRES BIEN. SALUDOS DESDE VENEZUELA

Hola Hermanita!
Very nice to hear from you. I'm glad you are okay.
Summer is coming soon in Canada and I am excited about my garden. : )
Please stay healthy, little sister.

Steem is stupid. I've posted comments EVERY DAY, and upvoted religiously for 2 years, and took my initial $10 investment up to a whopping..... $4. My voice is worth something, they said. Get on the wait list for Steem, they said. Fuckin scam. I'm out of here.

Switch the construction workers' cigarettes out for joints. They'll be calmer, quieter, and probably end the day early. Maybe even sleep in the next day and show up for work around noon.
