Real solar flare - space weather today (July 03, 2017)

Today we have real solar flare M1 class at 16:15 UT

!

The blast site is on the sun's western limb ( AR 12664) , so our view of it is severely foreshortened. This complicates efforts to judge potential of this AR for more flares in the hours ahead.
