Howdy!
You might remember my "humanoid Twilight drake" cosplay.
Well...
I changed it (for now) to a regular nightelf. I built myself the "moon staff of Elune" from WoW out of a flexible PVC pipe, Eva foam and craft foam 
I wrapped the craft foam around the PVC pipe and made sure it stuck by applying contact glue. Once it was secured, I painted the base, painted the moon crescent, let it dry and glued the moon on top of it. I added some details and voilà -- we had a sweet nightelf weapon!
I've also been to two concerts, did some make up tests and so on and so forth...
