Blog 2: A case of PCD (Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia) in a 19 year old.

in cough •  7 years ago

Ahmad turned blue two hours after birth. Taken away from his mother and told he could possibly die; this has been the theme of his life; possible threats of death and continuous chronic ill health.

For 19 years, Ahmad’s mother has consulted the top pulmonologists across the globe with similar outcomes; prescriptions and recommendations of antibiotics cocktails, corticosteroids, ventolin, and vaccinations in an attempt to manage the symptoms of the mass mucous formations in his lungs, ears, and all other orifices.

Ahmad has three cousins with the same condition and one passed away at an early age which makes mum even more nervous and determined that he should not follow suit. An aunt referred the family after homeopathy greatly helped with her allergies.

Ahmad cannot discharge mucous and therefore has suffocative cough attacks in addition to recurrent ear infections and sinusitis.

A combo of Carcinosin /Lobelia (to support the lung and remove all the toxicity) in addition to Ipecac/Ant-tart for the wet cough attacks was prescribed. Ahmad was asked to follow up in a month so that I could prescribe further.

Nearly 18months later they returned with empty remedy bottles. He had in fact responded significantly to the remedies, especially his “magic pills” aka ant-tart/ipecac. Any time he would have the cough attack, the combo expelled the mucous immediately relieving him from the coughs that had previously been constant and never-ending. He had not been admitted to the hospital for the duration of the prescription.

However, they had hoped for a permanent cure, Ahmad became fed up with his daily sugar pills and followed leads to Europe to more doctors who prescribed yet more antibiotics which temporarily improved his symptoms significantly.

They were convinced he had turned a new leaf until he became extremely poorly, lung misery ensued and back they were in my office after having consulted a local naturopath who had greatly helped to ease Ahmad’s breathing with essential oils.

This time I decided to detox the antibiotics and to resume with the previous prescription as it was effective but had been discontinued. This is an ongoing case and a severe one that requires continuous follow-ups in the coming years to achieve long-lasting results.

Fascinating case @niloofarrezai. Will you keep us updated?

Thank you @sallylloyd, I sure will, I really hope they follow up like your patients who had the chelation done.

I hope so. I tend to book people in and I also send a mail chimp follow up reminder to everyone monthly. I’m terrible at following up as a patient myself so I send reminders. 😄

Ha! Yes a good idea🙏

Possibly, but it may be overmanagement. If they are invested they won’t forget their follow ups.

WAAAAA,,NICE

Lovely results @niloofarrezai. Even if he had to keep taking the magic pills, it's much better than the allopathic alternative.

If only more people knew that there was an alternative to dangerous drugs @alafreestone, I have been following your work with autistic children for some years. We need more practitioners like you.
