Cover a Steemian update (21/07/2018) - New entries , Song pool update.

Hello Steemit!

Here we are with one more week of the #coverasteemian initiative, where you can celebrate the work of others and pay tribute to your favorite artists in this platform. We have been on a bear market for a while now so I can see there has been less participation in general , less people posting.. but.. as I say over and over.. I will continue this project anyways :D !

-Let's Join the @passion-ground mega collaboration for Open Mic!

We all know our man @passion-ground here in the music community! He's always around supporting everyone with his input, if there is someone that has a huge love for music is him! Well , now he is putting together a Special Open Mic Mashup to celebrate the 2 year run of the Open Mic! What a Milestone , of course I onboarded the musical train early on but we are still in need of more participants to make this an epic entrance! So, please come over! -Join the @openmic curation trail.

As you may know , there is an account used for voting all valid entries to the open mic contest, this is a way to give some rewards to all the participants and help add some incentive to the music community. By joining the trail you will be upvoting all the valid entries in the contest , helping fellow musicians and also earning some curation money while you sleep! good deal huh?

I am sure at this point @passion-ground is the most covered steemian in this initiative! Aside from the contest we held a couple months ago, steemians are still submitting their versions of their favorite Passion song :D ! I must confess ''Full Circle'' is my favorite of his originals and I'm thrilled to hear yet another version. @Nilssonleiva did a very cool piano arrangement over a very chill vibe, making it an awesome soft rock ballad! Good Job!

Man...right in the feels... again! . @yidneth did her magic again over a Serena song, this was so beautifully performed it gets me emotional. "Moon hanging low'' is one of my favorites of Serena and I also did a cover of it some months ago but @yidneth took it to another level , harmonizing over Serena beautifully , adding piano , harp , flute and second vocals... just beautiful , it feels as if they were in the same room performing :D !

-Choose a song of a particular Steemian you would like to support.
-Contact him/her and ask permission to cover his song unless it is in the ''Song Pool''.
-Please , don't do a ''cover of a cover'' .. meaning copying another #coverasteemian entry or it will not be considered valid.
-No playback!
-Soundcloud , D-sound , D-live and D-tube links are also accepted.
-Do a post using the tag #coverasteemian, #music should be your second tag.
-The title of your post must start with ''Cover a Steemian''
-Tag @pechichemena and the Steemian you are covering.
-Share your post in the last ''Cover a Steemian'' update.
-Give us a little introduction of the song and why you want to support that Steemian.
-Transfer at least 50% of the SBD of that post (100% and even extra is still encouraged).
