Track and Trace is not going to stop the spread.

Tracking/tracing covid may be a good way to know where it's been and who has been possibly infected, but people are delusional if they think they can stop the spread with this information.

People are delusional if they think they can stop the spread with any government interaction. It'll take the market and it's numerous vaccines competing on price, quality, safety, and efficacy that will stop the spread and protect people, not simple virus tracing....that coupled with immunity formed through natural infections as well, which together will lead to herd immunity (like I've always said, it'll take both natural infection and vaccine supplementation to achieve herd immunity, especially without millions of extra deaths that many high-risk people have avoided so far)

Tracing is overhyped IMO and sets a dangerous precedent that things can be handled better outside of spontaneous order when really they can't. I'm all for people voluntarily using tracking/tracing if they want (all things voluntary) but you have no right to force others into it against their free will. Tracking/tracing isn't going to help the government stop covid, that's irrational.

The government nor tracking/tracing (private or public) won't stop the spread. Instead, the market and its numerous competing vaccines and consumer choice will!
