It's been a year ago this week since Cancer burst into our lives and changed literally everything. If anyone hasn't been following along last August 2020, my husband was diagnosed with cancer.
At first, it started with some tests, and eventually, the first biopsy came back with cancer cells... The next weeks felt like a storm of tests, meetings, anxiety and the news just felt worse and worse.
As you Joe was diagnosed with Stage 4 nsclc with spread to the brain and throughout the lymph node system. The Oncologist said he would be on Chemo for the rest of his life and he would never be cancer-free.''
With Covid in full force treatment was hard, meetings with doctors were hard. I am really hoping we don't run into further problems.
We immediately threw everything we could at it from Radiation and Chemo to a full diet change, 40 supplements a day, and even a Reiki Healer.
I don't know what worked, but something did... by Dec he was off chemo and showing massive improvement. He also had all the wear and tear of someone who has had radiation. The scans at the time showed vast improvement and the Oncologist was truly surprised. By April of this year, he was NED. No evidence of disease.
We were excited, elated, and felt victorious.
This week he had blood tests and check-in and everything was looking good.
Next scans and determination of what our next steps are 5 weeks out now.
I'd love to say the whole experience launched us into a new appreciation of life and activity, but he's still not gaining weight or energy and of course, we are very happy he is alive.. Feeling WELL again still feels like a long way away.
We spent so much time and energy this year studying cancer, fighting cancer, adjusting our life plans.. that I am not sure we know quite what to do now! lol.
In any case, he is doing well!
This week we celebrate our 30th Anniversary and are renting a boat and hanging out on near Friday Harbor, WA.
What a year of Cancer, Covid and Crypto we had.
Saludos @whatsup fue un año difícil pero venciste Dios sigue siendo bueno, esos momentos te cambia la perspectiva de la vida lo mejor es el viaje que tiene planeado disfruten les deseo muchas bendiciones 🙏

I'm sorry I missed you. Glad to hear of the positive turn. For future reference, in 2012 I was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and prostate cancer, 3 months to live. If it weren't for this ( https://archive.org/details/ToxicReality ) I would never have made it to Steemit in the first place. The blood electrifier was the important part, I think, and a temporary alkaline diet. This was my experience anyway. There is a schematic to build one in the file. It fixed me up in 6 weeks, some scar tissue remains but no recurrences. It'll be 10 years ago next month. I hope I'm not overstepping.
The lymph tumors the size of squash balls were bad. I'd heard of people experiencing pain, but the itching was the worst part. No one talks about that.
I wish the best for you and yours, Good luck.
