On the Vaccination front.
By the end of 2022, Chief Sanitary Doctor Ihor Kuzin wants 70% of Ukrainian adults vaccinated.
It is going to be a difficult task if polling is any indication. An IRI poll from December showed that only 53% of adults were already vaccinated or most willing to get vaccinated. 30% were most unwilling to get vaccinated. They'll need to have aggressive outreach to the vaccine hesitant to reach their goal.
Among those unwilling to get vaccinated, concern about side effects is the main concern, followed by effectiveness, and lack of trust in the government's vaccine information.
There are large demographic differences in vaccination concerns among the unvaccinated. Unvaccinated rural Ukrainians are more likely than urban Ukrainians to be worried about vaccine side effects. Likewise older unvaccinated Ukrainians are more likely to be worried about vaccine side effects than younger Ukrainians.
