I went to buy lunch from a supermarket today when I saw this sign.

It says they have struck up a deal with Pelicans (the local professional ice hockey team) in these exceptional times.

It says that groceries can be ordered through a shopping list on the Pelicans website, by phone or email.

The deliveries are between 3 PM and 6 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Orders must be placed on the previous day at the latest.

It costs €15 to have two bags delivered 0-5 km, €18.5 5-10 km and €26.50 10-15 km. Additional bags are €3 a piece.

The national championship league is on a break. The clubs have no income and this is what the local team has come up with to plug the gap. It's a great idea to respond to demand like this.
