My Dog is an Idiot

We just got a new puppy not too long ago and it loves to chase rocks.Every time I take it outside it looks for rocks to put in her mouth so I can throw them.Her teeth are wearing down fast.I was wondering if anybody has a dog that does this and how do you make it stop!
