A secret Silk weave feature, and a couple of sketches

in creative-commons •  6 years ago

Given my computers decided to lag like crazy today, rendering it nigh unusable, I decided to share a couple of sketches made using Silk weave on mobile.
I'm thinking of making a Halloween themed collectible, so trying my hand at making less abstract forms using Silk weave
Here are the links to my 3 sketches, showing off how sharing silkweave links let's you see the process used to paint them. Something I didn't of know before this!!

These look pretty good! The process video is a really cool feature, too. Is that app only for Apple?

This was done using the mobile Web version, they just cram their ads for the app and share buttons in there 😕

The mobile web version also lacks the ability to control the color and symmetry settings.

Tried using "request desktop site" but it becomes a flickering hellscape then 😅

They apparently had an android version at one point, but the reviews on it point towards a sudden 'downgrade' removing all the good features and leaving just the ability to draw, start a new and undo. No saving at all...

In any case happy you liked it.

The share videos are indeed awesome !
