This is another entry of mine to the 99-word story of apostrophe pod where anyone could get a chance of growing their writing skills. this will be my 12th entry in all and I am enjoying it anytime I am around to participate. It also keeps my blog going.
The word for December 19 is Haggard
For all he cares was to finish the business and go home to refresh his mind for the next assignment that was waiting for him on the desk but it was getting unbearable seeing how attached she had made herself and he could not resist if he wants the assignment to be successful. It was supposed to be their last night together. She had organized the party to distract him and turned the table around unexpectedly. Could she have known his true mission while pretending and playing along with him? Who could identify the haggard lady as the spy?
