Too much information. Too fast. This is the first problem.
The second problem - this information flow spills over, creating a murky swamp of new ideas that I write down, but never have time to fully flesh out.
The solution - put the ideas on Steemit before they're "finished," - drain the swamp - and let other Steemians play with the ideas they think are worth playing with.
So here's this post's Half-Baked Idea (drumroll):
Bill Nye, have you really thought this through? Is this what they call "Big Think"?
Seriously Bill? If the AI gets to the point where it wants to kill humans, just unplug it?
Just. Unplug. It?
It?
You represent science and reason? How about this for reason: any AI intelligent enough to kill its creators is going to lie low and figure out how to source its own energy before it makes its move. Even the dumbest human world leaders know this. Intelligence includes the ability to not do stuff, in addition to doing stuff.
Hell, it might be so far advanced that it could influence us to kill ourselves. It might not even need weapons.
Oh, and by the way, why are you talking about AI in the singular form? There are already multiple AIs out there. On every smartphone. In every computer.
Check out the video to understand what I'm ranting about.
Sorry Bill Nye, I don't hate you, I just expect a lot more out of you.

If you think this idea has potential, feel free to expand on it and post to your own Steemit blog.
Until next time , Sayonara, Adios, and something else I forgot.

I don't know. Maybe ask Bill Nye.
