The Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Card is Investopedia's best overall credit card. It offers an unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase with no annual or foreign transaction fees. New cardholders can earn a $200 bonus after spending $500 within 3 months.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve is the best travel and rewards card. Cardholders earn 10x points on dining and travel purchases and can redeem points for travel through Chase at a 50% higher rate. The $300 annual travel credit and airport lounge access help offset the $550 annual fee.
