35% Crescent, Some Planets, & a Massive Incoming Black Cloud

in crescentmoon •  6 years ago

From daytime footage, we found a new Sunspot along with the old. They weren't listed on spaceweather.com or Raben at the time. So tonight we had dual cameras, a 35% waxing Crescent, Venus, & Jupiter - but the 'star' of the night was the massive black cloud bank! Torrential downpours and lightning shortly after going in.

Dual cameras together on the same tripod and video head using the Desmond dual camera photo bracket mount ($16.95 Amazon) - the Canon 80D with the Tamron 18-400mm lens (Ninja Flame recorder), and the Nikon P900.
