Chris Lynn suffers dislocated shoulder

in cricket •  7 years ago

Chris Lynn will miss the upcoming Pakistani Super League and may miss the IPL season after suffering a dislocated right shoulder during Australia's recent T20 victory against New Zealand on Wednesday night. The injury occurred when Lynn dived in an attempt to field the ball in the 9th over of New Zealand's innings.

This is devastating news for his PSL team (Lahore Qalandars') and potentially his IPL team (Kolkata Knight Riders), where he was their most expensive signing at last month's IPL auction, selling for $1.5m.

Lynn has arguably been the most destructive batsman on the Australian T20 domestic circuit in recent years and his presence will be sorely missed in all of the teams that he was set to be a part of.

We wish him a speedy recovery and hopefully he can resume demolishing opposition bowling attacks in the near future.
