INTRODUCTION TO HORRIFYING SCENARIO

The Burari death case was a terrifying event in 2018 when 11 members of a family from Burari, Delhi, had killed themselves. Many consider it a mass suicide. Although very little is known about the incident, the vast majority of information is false or unfounded in how the media has presented it. A family with a complex personal story was exposed publicly in a more convincing manner because of Leena Yadav's documentary on Netflix entitled ' House of Secrets the Burari deaths.' Until his death in 2007, the Chundawats (familiarly known as “the Bhatia Family") were just like every other middle-class family, content and looking to the future. Although many who saw the family from afar believed that they had found peace in religion, there's no one to tell what transpired behind those four doors of the Burari home. The article below focuses on the widely discussed case from various perspectives and the information readily available to help the reader comprehend what transpired behind locked doors that were the only way for this family of 11.

THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF ELEVEN FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE SAME FAMILY

On July 1, 2018, at around 11:30, the three neighboring residents, Gurcharan Singh, Kuldeep Singh, and Pritpal Kaur, went to investigate the Bhatia family (originally Chundawat), who had a store for groceries but was not opening the store at the time of the opening (which usually opened at 5:30 early in the day) or taken liquid milk daily from the milkman and was not answering the calls of neighbors, they discovered the main entrance open, as it was closed from the inside. After they had walked to the upstairs area, they were shocked to see the family members hanging off an iron grill hung on the roof's ceiling in a circular pattern. The tenth family member female was hanging directly opposite them. Their mother was in the room behind them, lying on the floor near her mattress. The family members were blindfolded, their hands and feet bound, and they were hanging themselves. The dog, who was the only living member of the family, was tied to the roof and was believed to be constantly barking.

Three generations lived in the same residence. Everyone was educated and well-adjusted. The family consisted comprised of 11 people who were living in the home situated in Burari, Delhi. Narayani Devi, the matriarch Narayani Devi, was widowed and was the mother of three sons and two daughters. Of these, two sons and a daughter resided in her home. Bhuvnesh was the older son, and Lalit was her youngest. They were both married to Savita Tina, respectively. At the same time that Bhuvnesh and Savita were parents to two girls and a child (Maneka, Neetu, and Dhruv), Lalit and Tina had only one son Shivam. Her daughter, Narayani Devi Pratibha, was the sole mother of her daughter Priyanka.

The family owned a general store, and the older son Lalit owned a woodworking business. Neighborhoods have reported that they had a family performing quite well in both businesses. The family was reputedly religious family members, neighbors, and colleagues have stated that the 11 members were pleasant, generous, and peaceful people who weren't involved in disputes between the members or with those who were around. The children were smart and academically proficient and displayed respectable behavior and manners; the rest of the family was determined to help their relatives and friends when they needed help. Sujata Nagpal, who was the last sister and the eldest sister, Dinesh accepted neighbors' opinions about her family when they asked her about this. No family members believed that the daily's 11 members attempted to commit suicide in a mass manner. This was mainly because the family had held an enormous celebration to mark one daughter's engagement. It happened just 14 days before the incident that was discussed.
