Aliya Fakhri, the 43-year-old sister of Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, has been indicted on four counts of first-degree murder. Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced the indictment, alleging that Fakhri intentionally set fire to a garage on November 26, leading to the deaths of Edward Jacobs and Anastasia Ettienne.
According to reports, Fakhri arrived at the residence around 6:20 a.m., shouting, "You're all going to die today," before setting the structure ablaze. The victims died from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries. Fakhri faces four counts of second-degree murder and charges of first- and second-degree arson, in addition to the first-degree murder charges.
