God in his grace always offers us a new opportunity and when we trust in Jesus Christ the love of God is poured into us.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; 2 through whom we have also gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, trial; and trial, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

6 For while we were still weak, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5:1-6

Through the Bible we can see the dark future of humanity that is separated from God, they are the people who remain dead in crimes and sins separated from God eternally. But through the sacrifice of the cross we have a new opportunity to be free and all this and to have a relationship with a Lord when we place our trust in Him, when His love and grace surround us.

And you He made alive, who were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom we all once lived in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Ephesians 2:1-3

By the grace of God we can be justified by faith, this is simply that God declares that we are righteous, that we are without stains and without sins before the one who has no guilt. This is because of the sacrifice of Jesus in our place, he was punished for our transgressions and all our crimes and sins have been forgiven as well as the present and the future ones.

Forgiven by placing our faith and our trust in Jesus Christ when we recognize that we are sinners and we need the salvation that came through his death and resurrection since we understand that we cannot save ourselves. We develop that faith that is based on the fact that the death of Jesus Christ took all our sins, that the sacrifice of the Lamb of God was accepted and was enough to cleanse us forever. We did not deserve any of these but the grace of God reached us and for those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ, today we are part of the family of God, we are his children.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe in his name;

John 1:12

The grace of God is not what I deserved, but the grace of God offers us a new beginning, a new opportunity, let us not let this great opportunity pass us by, let us worship and give our hearts to God.
