About The Docuseries

Bring the vision and discussion of thousands of decentralized repositories to the big screen. Going through banking, identity, and assets to share how Blockchain industrializes trust versus the incumbents that are still “trust artisans” and will be disrupted.

The first season includes ten initial chapters (episodes), with each focused on a different particular Blockchain use case. It features some of the most known faces within the space, including Adam Back, Vinny Lingham, Alexis Sirkia, and Alejandro Regojo among many others.

About Crossing the Yellow Blocks

Crossing the Yellow Blocks is a “first-of-its-kind” project that ties the expansion in the overall value of the film industry with the limitless potential of blockchain. This is the purpose and goal of launching this project and giving holders the opportunity to participate interacting with The Yellow Dapp.

What is The Yellow Dapp?

The Yellow Dapp is a “Partially upgradable “ open-source Ethereum Smart Contract serving as a payment system itself while managing the liquidity strategy and setting the film financial workflow. Calculations are intended to secure holders' dependency on volume, price, and liquidity.

Liquidity is defined as the capacity that exists on an exchange for users to convert funds from one asset to another easily. Without liquidity holders have no guarantee that they will be able to exit when their financial situation requires it. Liquidity is critical to the functioning of a decentralized exchange (DEX) like Uniswap.

This Smart Contract creates an On-Chain version of a Buy&Redeem system. The customer autonomously interacts with the proposed contract with no middlemen.

BUY

The ETH/Tokens deposited are directly managed by Film2market.sol.
Film2market.sol collects the project tokens (90%) from Production Wallet (allowance).
Film2market.sol gets CBK tokens (10%) by interaction with a decentralized secondary market (Uniswap). Creating an upside market move.
Film2market.sol allocates received funds (+ CBK tokens) as Liquidity Pool Tokens so no funds need to be sold.

The CBK token

Tokenization is the process of converting an asset into its digital counterpart and managing it on a blockchain platform. For instance, converting a real estate property into equivalent digital tokens. The tokens represent the underlying asset and gain their inherent value from it. A concept that only existed on paper has been now conceived through blockchain technology. Today, the concept of tokenization is explored for a number of industries including real estate, art, financial assets, stocks, and now the film industry as well.

CBK tokens will use the established Ethereum Blockchain, allowing token holders to participate in the DeFi Market and gain:

Exposure in Blockchain projects. Active or passive.
A role in the community-driven content.
A say at the frame price in public secondary DeFi markets.
Access to CBK exclusive merchandising.
