What is Crowdini?

Crowdini is a question and answer game. We ask you to answer one question a day and give you points based on how your answer compares to the majority answer.

We have incorporated Steemit in a new innovative way. Read more about Crowdini and how we have incorporated Steemit in our intro post here.

At the end of the game the top 3 in points split 90% of the prize pool and all other players who voted on every question for that game will split 10% of the prize pool.

It is designed to be something you can do in a few seconds a day but hopefully sparks conversation and thought.

Because I have never even experienced a winter, let alone know how to survive in one.

With the proper tools...

While not the same thing, I have done a 500 mile thru hike in the rockies, and I think I have enough survival skills to figure it out if the stakes were that high. I've definitely got the basics of fire starting, navigating, back country decision making, etc. And while I might not make it, I think I would have a better shot than a lot of other people and at bare minimum would panic less, which is key in survival.

Obviously I would need some supplies ahead of time (tools, knives, rifle, canned fruits and veg, fire making materials, blankets, etc..) but assuming I was set up with that type of stuff, I would be fine for a while. I've done a lot of camping in my life

I'd probably die before the first day is done tbh

I answered

Like 2 weeks probably. Good on water with the snow. So dehydration doesn’t kill me faster. I don’t know anything about hunting though.

Ein paar Monate bis zu einem Jahr würde ich schaffen zu überleben. Aber ich bin nicht gern alleine und hätte sonst fürchterliches Heimweh.

I suppose it could be weeks...but over the years both here and abroad I’ve lived alone without a car or bicycle, with no telephone, no computer, no central heat (only one small space heater), no AC, (a ceiling fan), no TV (a radio), no hot water (a stove to heat water), very few lights, no bathtub or shower (only a toilet in the hallway), no fridge, and no laundry facilities. (And in the country in Virginia we heated our home with an Ashley wood stove, which worked great except I wouldn’t want to have to chop wood for heat.) But in all those circumstances I had easy access to food each day. So, I know I can do without a lot of worldly comforts but I still need to eat, and being isolated alone in the dead of winter could eventually make that difficult.

I answered

Because I not clear about that but I less food and cold may survive for months.

I answered

I guess it would depend on what supplies and stuff I had with me to start.

I answered

I kind of need to know more about the conditions. Do I have food?

I answered

Am I given supplies at all?

I answered
Days

I am not prepared for such conditions for life, I am home
