What do you mean when you say "a few minutes" and what do you expect when you are told "a few minutes"?

I answered
I mean more than 5 minutes and I expect them in more than 5 minutes

I suggested the earlier question, inspired by a coworker whose "few minutes" is regularly more than an hour. Perhaps this has tainted my perception, but I still think up to about 15 minutes is usually acceptable as a "few minutes."
