CROWDWRITE: Peacock Stares

Ten days ago, I expressed an idea stuck in my head thusly:

P.S. (but no more)
scribed and scribbled, mars the end
of your letter home

Then I asked people to join in with their own variations on this theme. Below are some of the great haikus in response:

This was such fun that I decided to try it again. So here's a haiku inspired by a peacock at the zoo:

Tail of a peacock
unfurls, fans flat in a flare;
a hundred eyes stare.
