What is Vevue?
Vevue works by allowing individuals to make videos and earn Bitcoin. The idea is pretty cool, you simply request that someone makes a video of your choice in a certain location on a map, and when someone makes the video they receive Bitcoins. So it's a video on demand or video on request service. In my opinion the concept behind Vevue can be recreated on Steem where instead of rewarding Bitcoins the reward is Steem Dollars.
Steem Video by Request
In Steem, anyone could simply post a request for a certain video of a certain location or on a certain topic. When someone posts a video matching the description then the Steem Dollars get rewarded or released from escrow. To test this idea out, anyone can post a blog post right now asking someone on Steemit to make a video of some object or thing, and then all who participate in the experiment can proceed to up vote the first few people who post on that subject.
The specification below
- Requesters ask for a video or photograph on a specific topic or based on a specific description
- Responders respond with a videos or photographs which closely matches the description by the requesters
- Requesters up vote the posters who met their request most accurately
- Responders then ask requesters for additional descriptions and or topics
If these steps are followed exactly then I predict using the current infrastructure we can have a sustainable method of producing any desired photograph or video by request. The proof of course is in the experiment so I encourage readers of this blog to try it out and let's see. Of course start simple with requests which are easy to meet, and make it fun.
