The article is misleading, I own some Waves and it was the community that urged the team to use the ico found to collect Byteball. It was well known in advance and the revenues will be distributed to stakeholders in the next few weeks. Supernet did the same with the Komodo ico funds but they will be kept for development, I am a member there and I also urged for that. Personally I have only alts so I couldn't get any free BBs but I accept this fact and I'm not whining like a 3yo baby on Steemit

What would you have prefered?? That they were Canadian? That only those with loads of fiat could get it? That those who have no clue about crypto find it under their pillow? Suggest a perfectly fair distribution method that can't be abused or wasted and meets the objective of widespread access and usage. As you can see in the wallet, those bytes are being used for real smart-contract services 24/7 right now. And the distribution is arguably keeping the Byteball Bytes affordable for those who had very little BTC, to now buy cheap Bytes instead. So don't just watch and complain... buy cheap!
