I just started trading in alt coins for the first time. The amount of info I've learned in the last three days is staggering. There are numerous little things that I've learned the hard way. Some of them seem silly now, such as the time I tried to withdraw my $1 in bitcoins I had been playing with just to realize that it would cost me $3 just to withdraw it. My advice.....start with $1 and see if you can trade it up to $1.50. It's amazing practice without any real consequence, and you'll run into all sorts of learning situations.
