I was wondering how smart can hackers go to steal something that belongs to you. And today I was really surprised how inventive they are.
They make an ad for a new crypto program. As usual, any fool like me will say ok, worth trying and they will install that software on their PC. You know a few clicks away. And that is all. Fast and furious. But there are no results. No program that needs to be opened, nothing. You say ok I am a pro and I will check in the Control Panel must be installed somewhere. But, no results.
Then I expected some s... to happen. Never knows. And it started to happen. Problem with a video driver, screen freezing, and blocking of the PC. You say ok, but all other works fine for that few minutes until your PC runs.
Then you show your skills, find a problem that your Windows Defender is disabled and you said. Cool, I am really good at this. Problem solved. Everyone happy right.
And later you go to copy and put some BTC wallet address for some crypto events (as usual you need to receive some BTC or something) and unintentionally I checked. Ok, this is not My_Wallet_address I copied.
Tried to copy again other wallet address, the result is the same. So, you copy any BTC wallet address, but the pasted address is always the same and probably that is HACKERS_ BTC_Wallet_address.
But, no thanks for donation right.
So, now I have the next problem. I guess the scrypt is running on my PC that converts copied BTC wallet address length to a HACKERS_ BTC_Wallet_address.
Otherwise, I am cool. Thanks for asking.
