The Sandbox Metaverse is currently hosting a the GAMEE Jam, a game jam in collaboration with GAMEE. The game jam includes over $15,000 in SAND token prizes along with a few NFTs.
The Details
The Game Jam started earlier this week, but it isn't too late to hop in. Entries for the game jam must be built in The Sandbox Game Maker, a downloadable tool to create ideas and import them within the Sandbox metaverse. With this tool, you can create games, assets, and more.
The Game Jam will be open to submissions until May 22. Community voting will open the next day on May 23 and continue until June 12. On June 18, winning games and authors will be announced on the Sandbox website.
The Prizes
According to the Sandbox announcement, event prizes will include over $15,000 worth of SAND and NFT packs. Prizes for each ranking are:
- 1st place: 6,000 SAND + 1 Legendary G-Bot pack;
- 2nd place: 3,500 SAND + 1 Epic G-Bot pack;
- 3rd place: 2,000 SAND + 1 Rare G-Bot pack;
- 4th to 10th place: each receive 500 SAND + 1 Common G-Bot pack.
