The Weiss ratings are actually not as negative as they sound! Weiss uses a different rating model than we're used to. I found this excerpt on their site:

"Caveat 1. Do not misunderstand the Weiss Ratings scale. Other rating agencies use a scale from triple A to single C. In that scheme a B grade is “junk” and a C is close to failure. In contrast, Weiss Ratings’ B is “good” and C is “fair.” Based on a study of the Weiss Ratings by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, an institution is not categorized “vulnerable” unless its grade is D+ or lower."

After reading this part it puts a whole different spin on the ratings. You can read more about how they came to these ratings over here.

P.S. I was scrolling through the list of crypto authors, looking for new ones to add to my feed. I checked out your profile after reading this and saw you write about crypto too, so I added you to my follow list.

I too write about crypto a lot. Perhaps you'd like to take a look at my profile as well and see if there's anything there that suits your fancy?

yes i think it should be atleast B+

Thanks for sharing this @cryptonized. I just did a post analysis the rate of growth of Steemit, which in my opinion is one of the factors that put STEEM in the top 5 of these ratings.

well information in bitcoin ..... thanks for shareing

The traditional financial institutes just dont really understand the crypto space.

I am not a rating fan and I never tend to take them only on their face value. But bitcoin has some scaling issues with them and they need to solve it. I have hold bitcoin for long time and now diversified.
