How can we check news fast and efficient?

Do you wonder how some people always know more than you if it comes to news?

This is most likely due to the fact that those people are using an application that gives them something we call "RSS Feed".

What is this RSS Feed you're talking about ?

RSS (Rich Site Summary) Feed is basically a quick look at information that is entered on a website that you follow the RSS Feed from. By the use of this you are always up to date with any subject you like to follow. You can add as many websites as you want to your feed. As you can see in the image below

I am going to give you an example of what RSS Feed on Crypto looks like:

Why would I want to use RSS Feed?

It's the best way to check news on websites you love. This is the way to filter out the articles you don't want to read you simply hit "Delete" if you find something interesting you simply hit "CTRL + C" and you paste it "CTRL + V" into your web browser to check it out.

How did we get all this?

Download a RSS Feed application such as:

There are more, you could google them, however in this tutorial we will use Sharpreader.

How does Sharpreader work?

So, once we've downloaded Sharpreader we can go ahead and start adding websites to our RSS Feed.

So, how do we add new sources into our RSS Feed, this is quite simple. all we need to do is go to the URL bar in Sharpreader and type in the website we want Feed from (NOTE: Not all websites you can scrape information from into your RSS Feed application such as Sharpreader).

Let me show you all an example:

Let's say we want information from https://cryptoinsider.com/

Then all we do is add that URL in the URL bar inside of Sharpreader.

Once we press enter all the headlines from that website will show up from that day or past few days. This is the way we stay up to date on everything that interests us.

Now if you want you can subscribe to the website you've just entered into Sharpreader.

After doing so you can make subgroups in your Sharpreader by Right clicking and choose "Add Category" but this is self explanatory, it's the same as making a folder in Windows Explorer.

How do we get Sharpreader to refresh every 15 minutes?

In order to get Sharpreader to refresh every 15 minutes with new articles all we need to do is go to: Tools -> Options -> Feed Properties -> Refresh Rate, now put that at "Every 15 minutes" and you're golden.
