My Crypto Shopping List 01/23

in crypto •  7 years ago  (edited)

With every great drop, we get a great opportunity to go shopping for some gems that get caught up in the bloodbath. The last few days are no exception, and its important to get our research in so we are ready with dry powder.

Here are our top favorites to scoop up:

1.Civic coin (CVC) - Vinny Lingham is considered one of the most important people in Crypto to follow (Ranking No. 16 on the most influential people in Crypto -- https://cryptoweekly.co/100/) and the founder of the Civic coin, a secure identity ecosystem.

"Through our decentralized architecture with the blockchain and biometrics on the mobile device, our platform provides multi-factor authentication without a username, password, third-party authenticator, or physical hardware token."

What we like: Its a coin that isn't focused on the finance world and isn't trying to replace cash. Its solving the issue of identification, which is quite possibly one of the best uses for the blockchain. After the Equifax hack, the need for Civic is extremely apparent.

What we don't like: there are lesser known coins looking to solve identification, and not being finance related might mean that this won't experience the huge gains other tokens get

2.Komodo (KMD) - "The Komodo Platform is the first exchange to support atomic swaps, and we have even forged our own unique variations of the protocol, advancing the technology beyond its previous capabilities."

What we like: Don't decentralized currencies really need decentralized exchanges? Every news headline about a "bitcoin hack" has been because of a centralized exchange. KMD has the most atomic swaps under their belt giving them a headstart on the competition

What we don't like: Even though the big exchanges are centralized, it wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination to see them also adopt atomic swaps. Even Coinbase or Binance could switch over and that would be tough competition.

3.Cindicator (CND) - A platform for analysts to make market predictions and get compensated for their accuracy. The result? A better Estimize.

"Hybrid Intelligence for effective asset management
52,000+ decentralized financial analysts enhanced by artificial intelligence"

Check out the app: https://app.cindicator.com

What we like: One of the coolest uses for the blockchain that can be used today. We think that this coin will get a lot of attention as the core audience of the platform will all get a kick out of the app. We expect the number of "financial analysts" will grow to 250,000 before the end of February.

What we don't like: Its success will be determined by how many people use the insights vs how many people are part of the ecosystem.

What do you think of our choices? Are there any coins we missed?

Thanks and happy hunting!
