Crypto mining is not always profitable. In fact, to make any money, you must select the right crypto to mine. Not all cryptos are mine-able and not all mine-able cryptos can be readily mined. There are just too many challenges for crypto mining to be profitable and these include:
- limited mining software;
- small number of crypto exchanges;
- slow transactions and high fees due to the lack of IT infrastructure; and most importantly
- government interventions, such as regulations and taxes.
