Honestly, I've just stopped caring for what John McAfee says. Obviously he has a lot to gain from hyping up bitcoin, he has his money in it after all.
Not to mention that 500,000 might not be worth much in the distant future (if it ever hits that amount).

The $500,000 Bitcoin expectation does have some good maths behind it actually! Mainly but not entirely due to the imminent collapse of Fiat currencies across the world. But what I enjoy most about John McAfee are his views on security matters. He has shared invaluable information such as the dangers of using any public wifi spot and a high percentage of routers in homes across USA and rest of the world are also compromised and dangerous!

In my opinion, it would only be the case if fiat became completely worthless, in which 500,000 wouldn't be much at all. But I do agree on his views on security.
