CoinMarketCap Aquired for $400,000,000 by Binance or is it an April Fools Joke?!?

I wanted to quickly cover this before the story went cold, today news is circulating that CoinMarketCap which is perhaps one of the most used websites in the crypto space has been acquired by Chanpeng Zhao the CEO of Binance for a breathtaking $400 million.

My first question when hearing this was "How the hell is CoinMarketCap worth $400 million?!?" an argument could be made for or against this valuation but anyway, my next question was "Is this an April Fools joke?" and after looking at CMC in the last hour or so it may well be.

If this is indeed an April Fools joke then good one CMC and CZ you got me, but if not then daaaaamn that boy got some serious money to throw around lol.
