Google to accept Crypto for Cloud payments through Coinbase (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Tether)

Google Cloud Platform will be accepting BTC, ETH, DOGE, USDT

One of the largest tech company in the world, Google is planning to accept cryptocurrency as a payment method for its cloud services.

The Google Cloud Platform infrastructure service will initially accept cryptocurrency payments from a handful of Web3 users.

Google is going to use Coinbase commerce for this which resulted a rise in Coinbase shares upto 8.4%.

The currencies that Google is planning to accept are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Tether at the moment.

This news may result in other companies embracing crypto as a payment method soon in the future.
