The short answer is that it varies, but it's challenging to accumulate the millions and billions that are depicted in deceptive online marketing and some training programs I've seen.
I'm a trader full-time. I began my journey as a trader in 2007, and I've been doing it full-time since 2013. (I also had other jobs between 2007 and 2013).

I haven't made a million yet;
Despite 2020 having a terrific start, it may be my first year with a 6-digit return; I have never had a single year with one;

On a sunny island that I've just arrived at in my private jet, I don't sip martinis while contemplating what to do with all of my money and free time. I dedicate a significant amount of time each week to trading, research, and optimization; as a result, I now spend less time with friends and family than when I had prior professions.
Though I spend more than 183 days a year on the road and enjoy my travels, I can't recall the last time I went longer than 24 hours without working. Although it's true that markets are closed on weekends, if you believe that using a computer while a market is open and pushing a few clicks
One other piece of advice: if you want to work as a professional Forex trader, do it because you are extremely passionate about it, not because you need the money.
